An Apology

To all my  subscribers, I apologise for my long absence from this blog. No excuses, but an explanation is due to you. (Excuse/explanation – is there a difference…?)

My daughter, who lives overseas, and my first grandchild came to stay with me and, all of a sudden, my life was not my own any more. I have been spending hours each day holding, playing with, helping with (sometimes) this adorable baby; my internet activities have been totally neglected.

But I am loving them being here. My daughter plans to return to London later in the year, so I must make the most of the time I have with them.

I’m back, and I hope to keep up with things a bit better. I just thought everyone deserved an explanation and an apology.

  1. Hi Sue,
No apology needed. Family always comes first in my book. When ever I am gifted time with my grandchildren they get my full attention.
    Bravo for you…
    and, bravo for your blog.
    Great stories.
    I’ll be back.
    Kathy

  2. Hi Kathy,
yes, nothing is more important than family, although it does help to have an income…
